For as long as I can remember, my family has had a connection to Hawaii. As a newlywed couple, my parents had friends in Hawaii that allowed them to travel for relatively cheap out there, and they went as often as they could. I have gotten a few questions about the handwriting of my logo... There's a bit of a story with that.
My grandma has Alzheimers and her memory has slowly been deteriorating over the years. Each time we talk to her on the phone, she seems to repeat herself a little bit more, forget a little more. It's been a heartbreaking process to see, even a thousand miles away in Arizona. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for my cousin and aunt and uncle who still live...

2012 was a rollercoaster of great highs and terrible lows. Despite the lows, I am so grateful for the good things that happened this year and am incredibly grateful for my wonderful clients and photographers who let me second shoot with them this year. Thank you all and here's to a better 2013!

Normally, I hate posting anything about myself. But, this is a big life accomplishment (so I'm told) so I thought I would make a quick post about it.
After three and a half years, I did it! I graduated Dec. 21 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am so glad to be done!
